Passing on The Liebster Award

Several days ago I posted a blog named Words, Agreement & their Power.  In the comment section I was notified that I had been nominated for an award and that I needed to visit this persons blog to receive it.  Well curiosity overcame me and I checked it out. The award is called The Liebster Award.  I did some research.  As it turns out it is a real award.  It's been through several changes since it was started but it is generally the same.  This award is a way for bloggers to give recognition to other bloggers and encourage them to continue blogging.

The blogger that gave me this award is Tasha and her sight is MomNstinks where she blogs about
her experiences with homeschooling, being a stay at home/work from home mom and anything in between.  I want to thank her for this award.  I really appreciate the pat on the back.

Now, when nominated for The Liebster Award you can't just accept it, you have to follow the rules.  So...

#1  Acknowledge the nominating blogger.
#2  Tell 11 random facts about me.
#3  Answer the 11 questions that the nominating blogger came up          with.
#4  List 11 bloggers who (as far as you can tell) have 200 followers or less and you believe deserve a little recognition and encouragement to continue.
#5  Post 11 questions for the bloggers you nominated to answer.
#6  Go to their page and tell them.
#7  No tag backs.  You can't nominate someone who nominated you.

  1. I am NOT a cat person.  They are too snobby.  I want a pet that totally knows that I'M the leader of the pack and not the other way around.
  2. I don't remember movies that I've already watched.  I've rented (back when Blockbusters was a big deal) or recorded (via DVR) movies only to have everyone in the house telling me "But mom, you watched this one, we've already seen it!"
  3. I've had five kids including a set of twins that will turn 22 this year.
  4. I like romances but actually prefer sci-fi.
  5. I'm a thespian at heart.
  6. I would love to learn the Greek and Hebrew languages.
  7. I can count to ten in English, Spanish, French, Japanese & Korean.
  8. I've never seen more than two inches of snow.
  9. I've sung on the radio twice.
  10. I hate bell bottom jeans and paisleys.
  11. I've been married for more than a quarter century.

#1  Where is your favorite place to visit?
A little castle playground when we go to see the grandparents.  Every chance we get we take a photo in the same spot.

#2  What is your favorite food?

#3  Have you ever received a speeding ticket before?
Yes (lol) but that is another story.

#4  What is the most you've paid for a pair of shoes?
$100.00 and it's the worst pair of shoes I've ever had.  They tore up faster than any other shoe I've ever had.

#5  Are you a saver or a spender?
I'm a saver.

#6  What is your all time most favorite movie?
Signs starring Mel Gibson

#7  Would you rather be hot or cold?
I would rather be cold.  You can always put more clothes on and get warmer.   But there is only so much you can legally get away with taking off to get cooled off when it's hot.

#9  Do you have any allergies? If so, what are you allergic to?
Yes, dust and ragweed

Cream of Nature

  1. How long have you been blogging?
  2. What made you start blogging?
  3. What was one of the greatest moments in your life?

  5. What's your favorite color and why?
  6. What season do you prefer?
  7. Maserati or minivan?
  8. Paris or Vegas?
  9. Moonlight serenade or dinner & a movie?
  10. What one thing do you wish everyone understood about you?
  11. In 100 years, how do you want to be remembered?
